A Closer Look at Male Child Sexual Abuse

One of the founding members of One Sixth Columbus has begun blogging about his personal memories of the abuse he lived through as a little boy and it's continuing impact upon his life as an adult male survivor.

The blog, Deconstructing Gary, has voluntarily submitted to an "adult content" rating, not due to crude language, obscenity or pornographic content; but simply because sexual abuse abuse of any kind is, in and of itself, obscene.

While avoiding street slang to chronicle sexual abuse, please be forewarned that this blog is a detailed and sometimes graphic retelling of actual childhood sex abuse. As survivors ourselves, we are well aware that there are some things to which a child should not be exposed, including graphic descriptions of child seduction and rape.

Survivors of child abuse, as well, are warned that the subject matter of Deconstructing Gary may cause triggers. Please read at your own risk and within your personal comfort level.
